and our WORLD

Spanish Ministry – Our new Spanish-speaking congregation is meeting for worship and Bible study on Saturday evenings at 5:00, Room C4. The pastor for this young but growing congregation is Ponciano Medina.

Food Pantry - Our church maintains a food pantry in order to help individuals and families in need.  If you would like to contribute to this ministry, please bring non-perishable items to the church during office hours or place them in the bin labeled “Food Pantry,” located in our foyer on Sunday morning. Cash donations are also welcome, simply mark your offering “Food Pantry.”

Work & Witness Trips – A team has recently returned from a trip to Tecate, Mexico, where we helped to refurbish the Nazarene seminary in that city.  Additional trips are anticipated in 2020, possibly as soon as February!

Stamp Project – This unusual project involves tearing off and saving the canceled stamps from the mail you receive and dropping them into the Stamp Box in our foyer.  The Alliance Stamp Ministry can turn these used stamps into funds which they use to support the printing and distribution of Spanish-language curriculum for Sunday School classes in 19 countries. Read more about this at alliancewomen.org.

Operation Christmas Child – This year’s project, in which our teens collect and fill shoeboxes for children around the world, resulted in the preparation of 120 Christmas Shoeboxes for distribution by Samaritan’s Purse.
